08.02.2019 Oshgorvodokanal held a planned meeting of its Advisory Committee.
The Advisory Committee is a consultative and advisory body, designed to provide for effective interaction and consultative process between Osh residents, non-governmental organisations and other stakeholders with Osh governing authorities on issues related to water supply and sanitation.
Among the Committee’s competencies there are monitoring of the implementation of the Public Service Contract between the Municipality of Osh and Oshvodokanal, monitoring and discussion of most important decisions on development of water supply and sewerage in the city, participation in assessment of implementation of corporate development programmes and development of recommendations for further development.
Mr. Talant Baikishiev, Oshvodokanal Deputy Director, presented to representatives of civil society organisations of Osh who are members of the Advisory Committee a report on Company operations in 2018 and an overview of implementation so far of Phase II of Osh Water and Wastewater Rehabilitation Project.
Consultants of the Czech consulting company GMCS – PRAHA s.r.o., who support Oshvodokanal in its strategic corporate development, presented an updated and reworked Public Services Contract and draft Social Support Programme, both documents have been under review by the Municipality of Osh.
